“I have been playing instruments for as long as I can remember thanks to supportive parents who listened patiently to me developing on recorder, violin and french horn. My early experiences in Primary School opened up a whole world of music that I am still immersed in. I believe that this opportunity should be open to everyone.”

Mark is Non-Executive Director at North East London Foundation Trust and Provide Community Interest Company. He also runs a consulting and coaching business focused on media and healthcare sectors. He previously worked for BBC Radio and Music where he led its digital services, ranging from events such as BBC Proms and Digital Glastonbury to podcasts, social media and creating digital content. He also led the BBC’s strategy team and worked in a range of media companies and charities including Cancer Research UK. He is a qualified accountant and executive coach.
