Development

I have been immersed in the performing arts my whole life, having grown up in a rehearsal room with a family of actors, dancers and musicians. I studied Drama and Theatre Arts at Goldsmiths College, before taking a PGDip in Acting at East 15. Since then, I have worked across the arts sector, as an actor and practitioner, delivering very similar programmes to the work that Artis undertakes, alongside developing skills in organisational development, strategy and fundraising.

Having worked with national institutions including the Old Vic, the National Theatre and the National Centre for Writing, amongst others, I now focus on working with grassroots organisations that deliver impact beyond the intrinsic value of the art they create.

Artis takes me back to my first love, working with children who may not have access to arts activities outside of school. I’ve seen first hand the impact that organisations like Artis can have on children’s lives and future outcomes and am delighted to contribute to the artistic lives of the next generation, building imagination, confidence and resilience through the arts.
