Beyond the primary school gates

Did you know Artis doesn’t just swoosh around primary schools? We also develop meaningful partnerships measuring impact, supercharging creative teaching skills, integrating the art world with education, and empowering our purpose.

Guildhall Art Gallery

Artis has been working in partnership with Guildhall Art Gallery for a number of years. Together we provide free workshops to primary school children at the Guidhall to bring art to life.

Brandpie

Artis has been fortunate to work alongside Brandpie as their foundation client. Together we have been on a purpose and branding journey, and we now have a wonderfully distinctive positioning and vibrant visual identity.

Pro Bono Economics

We are committed to effectively monitoring and evaluating our impact. We work alongside Pro Bono Economics who support and advise us on all things socio-economic.

Sky Arts

Our partnership with Sky Arts put Artis in front of over 94,000 children during their Access All Arts week. One lucky school won a project day with us and we are delighted to be working with the winning school based in Manchester.

NRCSE

Artis partners the National Resource Centre for Supplementary Education (NRCSE) to deliver workshops to teachers, teaching
assistants and volunteers providing supplementary education in community-led settings, also known as ‘out of school’.

Bloomberg Space

We work with Bloomberg SPACE and one project centred on sculptor Do Ho Suh’s thought-provoking installationProposal for Sach’ŏnwang-sa. Inspired by the resonance between the Roman Temple of Mithras and an ancient Korean temple, we developed a tailored workshop that immersed children and young people in Suh’s mesmerising world.

Arts & Heritage Alliance

In a survey of 338 Schools in 2016, 55% had experience a large increase in cases of stress and anxiety amongst young people. In an evolving initiative to understand and support young people’s mental health and wellbeing, Milton Keynes Council Public Health and NHS Milton Keynes Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) created an innovative project called You, Me, Together, supported with investment from Artswork, the South East Bridge, and delivered in partnership with the MK Cultural Education Partnership (led by Arts & Heritage Alliance Milton Keynes).

NHS CCG

MK Clinical Commissioning Group is the lead health commissioning organisation in Milton Keynes. They commissioned the You, Me, Together film as they were keen to hear from the voices of children on whose behalf they commission mental health services.

Chisenhale Gallery

Artis partnered with the Chisenhale Gallery to provide engaging, inspiring and inclusive weekly creative sessions which transformed how the gallery engaged with their local primary school.
